The Becton Dickinson FACSVantage has been an analytical tool encompassing both speed and sensitivity. The FACSVantage has a 488nm Argon laser allowing for simultaneous detection of 3 channels, e.g. FITC, PE and PERCP and collection of 2 target populations, simultaneously.   The Vantage is also equipped with an Automated Cell Deposition Unit (ACDU) which allows for single cell sorting into plates or onto slides.
